Hillcrest Hospital's Coronary Care Unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with acute and chronic diagnoses, such as acute coronary syndrome / MI, potential lethal arrhythmias, pulmonary edema / complicated CHF, hemodynamic instability of a cardiac origin and post-cardiac arrest. The Coronary Care Unit has a dynamic work environment with an active Unit Shared Governance Council that organizes community outreach programs. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. This position requires a caregiver who is empathetic, understanding and nurturing to ensure quality patient care and effective life-saving treatment.

A caregiver in this position works rotating day / night shifts from 7 : 00 p.m. - 7 : 30 a.m. and 7 : 00 a.m. - 7 : 30 p.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements.
