Phone Consults : Minimal

Case Mix : General Neurology; potential subspecialty focus in Neuromuscular Disorders / Neurophysiology with EMG / NCV

FACILITY INFORMATION

No. of Beds in Department : 420-bed facility

Trauma Level : Level 2

Office Equipment Available : In-clinic neurotesting and diagnostics with trained technicians

Specialty Backup Available : Neurohospitalists, Neurointerventionalists, Neurosurgeons

Support Staff Available : Dedicated APP support, access to Neuromuscular Rehab & Balance Center

Reason for Coverage : Expansion of Neurosciences team

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required : Yes

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate : Competitive annual salary above MGMA with productivity bonus option

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Must be licensed or eligible in Alabama

Certifications : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

Experience : Fellowship in Neuromuscular Disorders / Neurophysiology preferred

Other Qualifications : Willingness to complete EMG / NCV; ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide outpatient neurological care in a hospital-based clinic setting

Evaluate and manage a wide range of general neurology conditions
