Position : Ultrasound Technologist

  • Job Summary :

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will :

  • Verify patient identification and exam requests.
  • Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
  • Perform 2D and 3D ultrasonic imaging of internal organs.
  • Conduct measurements and documentation in line with protocols.
  • Prepare and manage medications and equipment for procedures.
  • Provide ultrasound guidance during interventional procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the lead tech on scheduling and protocol development.
  • Participate in quality assurance and department projects.
  • Assist in training new employees and maintaining equipment.
  • Qualifications

    • Knowledge / Experience :

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program with proficiency in various ultrasonography fields.

    • Education :

  • Eligible for national registries in sonographic modalities.

    • License / Certification / Registry :

  • ARDMS registration in Abdomen, OB / GYN, or Vascular preferred, with current BLS certification required.
