Insurance Verification Specialist

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification and Appeals Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Verify patient eligibility and specific DME policy inclusions / exclusions

Initiate pre-service appeals for denied prior authorizations and coordinate referrals

Document interactions in the CRM system while adhering to regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry with knowledge of Medicare guidelines

Strong organizational skills and computer competency

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
