Job description

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures and pipelines.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain data models to support advanced analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Propose and implement innovative approaches for data storage, processing, and governance.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to guarantee reliability and performance.
  • Lead and mentor junior consultants in best practices for data engineering.
  • Contribute to the definition of long-term data strategy within the organization.

ABOUT YOU

  • Academic background : Engineering schools or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related fields.
  • 7 to 10 years of proven experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Flink).
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI / CD and data workflow orchestration (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices.
  • You have the ability to synthesize complex problems and propose actionable solutions.
