Job descriptionUpdating systems as required Participating in ERP system updates / upgrades to achieve identified business results Ensuring LAN, Firewalls, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP function as required Ensuring server backups are conducted as scheduled Administering Service connect, other interfaces and databases Ensuring maintenance of antivirus / antimalware programs Ensuring maintenance of network and server infrastructure Attending continuing education events Reviewing professional publications Participating in professional organizations Microsoft 365 Proficiency Technical Proficiency Excellent Communication Skills Presentation Skills Strategic Thinking Positive Attitude Associates Degree in Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience required Automated manufacturing environment preferred Hands on software and hardware troubleshooting experience Experience with networking : physical LAN and wireless technologies Working knowledge of Windows Server 2012-2022, Windows 7-Windows 11 Group Policy Management / Print Management SQL Server 2012 / 2016 VMWare & VCenter 7.x Antivirus / Enterprise Security Suites Network Cabling and Termination Experience preferred Windows Server Updates Microsoft Intune and PowerShell preferred VOIP and Phone Systems Support
Our Information Technology Support Technicians provide technical and administrative support for the company IT systems and a variety of software and hardware in use to maximize efficiency of the network. They also respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems and determine / implement appropriate solutions.

Support users of Rockland IT technology by :
- Being the first point of contact for end users to provide polite, timely support
- Educating users regarding functions that may have required support assistance
- Supporting the teams needs related to IT
