Role Overview

The EHS Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our clients safety management systems, policies, and procedures to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations. This position actively drives a culture of safety across the organization ensuring every process, project, and person operates to the highest standard of environmental, health, and safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the companys Safety Management System (SMS) in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ISO standards.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and reduce hazards across manufacturing and fabrication operations.
• Lead the development and enforcement of safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Partner with plant and operations leadership to integrate safety systems into daily production, maintenance, and equipment installation activities.
• Oversee corrective action planning and follow-up from audits or incident investigations.
• Manage safety management software platforms for documentation, records, and compliance tracking.
• Promote a proactive, people-first safety culture through communication, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for technical safety guidance in manufacturing, fabrication, and industrial construction.
