The Office of the District Attorney, Bronx County (“BXDA”), is charged with ensuring public safety and striving for equal justice for over 1.4 million members of the Bronx community. By "Pursuing Justice with Integrity," BXDA focuses on assisting crime victims while ensuring fairness to defendants. The BXDA aims to balance appropriate punishment with justice considerations. Minimum Qualifications
Education : A four-year high school diploma or its equivalent approved by a State’s Department of Education or recognized accrediting organization.
Requirements To Be Appointed
Stenotype Proficiency : Demonstrate proficiency to take two-voice dictation at 175 words per minute and transcribe during the appointment interview.
Additional Notes
To qualify for Assignment Level II, at least one year of satisfactory experience in an office of a District Attorney performing Level I duties is required.
