Job Summary

The Assistant Operations Manager position is responsible for assisting the operational efforts in our Customer Service Center. This includes assisting the manager by providing leadership and setting expectations for team members, removing obstacles to ensure efficient workflow across the service departments, and partnering with other departments to ensure the technicians have needed items for repairs to maximize profits and control expenses.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and monitoring a business plan and key performance indicators for Parts, Service and Rental Departments
  • Monitor and control expenses for Parts, Service and Rental departments
  • Promote teamwork, training and continuous improvement in all departments
  • Promote ProLift Toyota Material Handling's values, mission and purpose of "Helping People Carry the Load" to ensure we are customers', vendors' and associates' "Indispensable Partner"

Educational / Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, two to four years of supervisory experience and three or more years in the Material Handling industry, and display efficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel. The Assistant Operations Manager will communicate with associates, customers and managers, which requires excellent verbal and written communication skills with a particular emphasis on listening skills. The ideal candidate will protect the organization's values by maintaining confidential information utilizing their ability to handle sensitive information.
