Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Financial in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence at a leading financial institution location. You'll help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks to people and property.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned equipment as required by the post profile and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
