Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring recent specialty experience and Epic EMR skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • Requires care for a diverse emergency patient population
  • Uses Epic EMR system with prior experience required
  • No blocked scheduling is permitted
  • No local candidates from specified counties within a 50-mile radius are eligible
  • Competency testing may be required with up to two attempts allowed
  • More than three call outs in a 13 week contract result in termination, and make-up shifts must be completed within six weeks
  • Time off requests must be submitted with initial application
  • Travel pairs are not permitted for this assignment

  • Active NYS RN license required at time of consideration
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience is required
  • Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
  • Epic EMR experience is mandatory
  • No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
  • Flu vaccination is required unless there is a medical exemption signed by a licensed professional
  • U.S. Social Security Number is required for consideration
