About the Role :
We are seeking a highly respected and visionary Physician-in-Chief to lead and oversee the clinical performance, standards of care, and medical staff governance within our healthcare system. This executive role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of patient care, promoting evidence-based medicine, and guiding the strategic development of physician leadership and clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the senior-most physician leader across the organization, providing clinical leadership and strategic direction.
- Oversee the performance, engagement, and development of all employed and affiliated physicians.
- Ensure consistency in clinical care standards, evidence-based practices, and medical protocols.
- Partner with other executive leaders to shape policies, quality initiatives, and system-wide clinical priorities.
- Foster collaboration among departments, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and efficiency.
- Represent the voice of the medical staff in executive decision-making and strategic planning.
- Monitor and enhance physician satisfaction, credentialing, continuing education, and peer review processes.
- Promote innovation in clinical care delivery, research, and academic partnerships (as applicable).
Qualifications :
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.Board certification in a recognized specialty.Minimum of 10 years of clinical practice with at least 5 years in a senior physician leadership role.Proven track record in quality improvement, clinical operations, and physician engagement.Deep understanding of hospital systems, regulatory compliance, and value-based care.Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a strategic mindset.What We Offer :
