Job descriptionSupport project feasibility studies, budgeting, and financial planning. Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure accurate cost assessments . Collaborate with project teams to assess constructability, risk factors, and scheduling impacts . Maintain and update cost databases and historical project data . Act as the lead estimator on assigned projects, ensuring clear and proactive communication. Mentor junior estimators and provide guidance to preconstruction staff. Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to streamline estimating processes. Participate in project meetings and assist project managers with preconstruction support. 6-8+ years of construction estimating experience, specifically in commercial projects . Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering , or a related field preferred. Deep understanding of general conditions, cost structures, and scheduling . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills . Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams). Experience with estimating software like Building Connected, On-Screen Takeoff, Planswift, Destini Estimator, Timberline Estimator (preferred but not required). Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with precision.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Estimator to join our team and take the lead in delivering accurate, competitive, and strategic cost estimates across various project stages. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the challenge of analyzing project costs, managing bid processes, and working closely with key stakeholders to ensure successful preconstruction planning.
What You’ll Do
Cost Estimating & Analysis :
- Develop detailed cost estimates from conceptual design to final pricing.
- Perform comprehensive quantity take-offs and precise pricing for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids, market conditions, and project risks to create competitive pricing strategies.
- Lead value engineering efforts to optimize project costs and improve efficiency.
