Job Title : Neonatologist - Permanent Position in Richmond, VA
Join a compassionate and innovative team at Richmond's largest delivery center, featuring a state-of-the-art Level III NICU. This facility is dedicated to excellence in neonatal care, providing 24 / 7 in-house coverage in a family-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide exceptional neonatal intensive care in a 40-bed Level III NICU.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of Neonatologists offering continuous 24 / 7 in-house coverage.
- Utilize advanced therapies including High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation and therapeutic hypothermia.
- Work alongside on-site pediatric surgery and cardiology specialists for comprehensive care.
- Coordinate with a nurse-led neonatal transport team for patient transfers and emergencies.
- Deliver care in a single-family room NICU model that prioritizes family-centered care.
- Focus exclusively on NICU patients, with no requirement to cover the newborn nursery.
- Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and collaborative clinical research.
- Contribute to a team culture that values innovation, education, and family support.

Qualifications :
Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.Board Certified in Pediatrics.Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain one.Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred).License and Certification Requirements :
