Client is THE industry standard in cloud-native cyber security and threat hunting processing Trillions of events / days. Youll be positioned for optimal widespread impact with bottom-up ownership of our core codebase driving architectural choices that affect every feature development team providing shared architectural components to be leveraged throughout the Falcon Platform (things like Unified Search Protobuf libraries and other shared-tier architectural components). If youre a math-brained or algorithmic thinker who loves optimization at its core then weve got the role to put your strengths to work! Throwing you headfirst into our core codebase to push the capabilities of our platform and drive optimizations for the entire product suites architecture.

What Youll Do :

• Develop and maintain services to meet reliability and scalability demands.
• Develop and enhance monitoring services.
• Extend and build new libraries for cross-cutting concerns that comprise / extend to the entirety of CrowdStrikes cloud platform which consists of hundreds of libraries and services.
• Constantly re-evaluate our product to improve architecture knowledge models user experience performance and stability.
• Use and give back to the open-source community.
• Evangelize best practices for building software especially as pertains to Go.
• Brainstorm define and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams.
• Obsess about learning and champion the newest technologies & tricks with others raising the technical IQ of the team.
• Mentor other developers on web backend and data storage technologies and our system.
• Update OSS dependencies as needed
• Be mentored and mentor other developers on web security authentication and authorization strategies.
• Be an energetic self-starter with the ability to take advantage of and be accountable for deliverables.
