Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
Looking for an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for tracking and reviewing for accuracy all aspects of compliance (Insurance, Certified Payroll and Releases) for subcontractors and their sub tiers to meet contractual requirements before release of payments. The ideal candidate would have the following :
Key Responsibilities
Proficient user of LCP Tracker and additional compliance monitoring systems (Admin experience a plus).
Proficient with Certified Payroll requirements for Public Works Projects in the State of California.
Proficient user of the State of California DIR website for reporting requirements as well
as retrieving information.
LAUSD Certified Payroll a plus.
Viewpoint experience a plus.
Textura experience a plus.
RMS reporting a plus.
Knowledge of insurance certificates and the ability to interpret insurance requirements in contracts is preferred.
Requires exceptional organizational skills.
Knowledge of releases a plus.
Manage companywide labor compliance, ensuring adherence to labor laws and contractual requirements.
Request payments and follow up with third- party / subcontractors.
Evaluate labor requirements for all contracts.
Request and track outstanding or corrected documentation to ensure timely and complete compliance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date subcontractor insurance records for current and archived projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Microsoft Office Suite
5+ years of experience
Construction Company Mid-Size GC or sub-contractor
Bachelor of Arts or Science in business or a related field is a plus
