Mortgage Loan QC / Underwriter – Hybrid

Innova Solutions is seeking an experienced

Mortgage Loan Quality Control / Underwriter

to join our team and ensure the accurate, compliant, and timely underwriting of first and second lien home loans. This role is critical to maintaining our commitment to excellence, regulatory compliance, and member satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Underwrite conventional home loans in alignment with Credit Union guidelines, investor requirements, and federal / state regulations

Monitor and adapt to changes in underwriting standards, regulatory policies, and private mortgage insurance guidelines

Conduct thorough audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of loan files

Deliver exceptional service to internal teams and external stakeholders

Respond promptly to inquiries and follow through to resolution

Ensure underwriting timelines are met based on loan volume and organizational standards

Functional Competencies

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

Excellent oral and written communication abilities

Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory and investor guidelines

Commitment to quality, accuracy, and customer service

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum

10 years’ experience

in the mortgage industry, including

5+ years underwriting conventional loans

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook

Familiarity with

Desktop Underwriter

and loan origination systems preferred

Ability to pass a background check, which will include a Credit Check
