Payroll Administrator

Collect, compile, input and review payroll data across multiple locations for weekly and bi-weekly processing. Reconcile payroll data prior to transmission. Ensure all employees are paid timely and accurately while maintaining precise payroll records. Prepare reports weekly, quarterly and annually as required or requested. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll laws and regulations. Build and maintain relationships with field personnel, Human Resources and Employee Services to ensure seamless payroll reporting. Stay updated on changes in payroll guidance to ensure ongoing compliance. Research and answer questions from customers on payroll related matters. Assist with the processing of accurate and timely W2s and year-end reporting. Assist other team members on payroll related tasks and projects as needed. All other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 1 year in Payroll or Accounting related job, with multi-state processing. Payroll compliance, regulatory background, or related experience preferred. Knowledge of Federal and State regulations preferred. Understand components of an employee's payroll. Including the ability to calculate payable hours, tax withholdings and deductions. Proficient in Excel, Word and PDF application, Adobe or Bluebeam, required. Strong organizational skills and commitment to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment. Ability to multi-task, stay organized and maintain an upbeat demeanor, all while delivering results under pressure and meeting required deadlines.
Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or other closely related field strongly preferred
