Speech-Language Pathologist – Pediatric Home Health (Houston, TX)

Part-Time or Full-Time | Home Health | Clinical & Supervisory Role

We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the Houston area to conduct evaluations / re-evaluations for pediatric patients and supervise a dedicated SLPA . This role offers a rewarding mix of clinical care and mentorship, all within the comfort of in-home settings.

What You’ll Do :

  • Provide evaluations and re-evaluations for pediatric home health patients
  • Create and support your own caseload
  • Develop and update individualized plans of care in collaboration with families
  • Supervise and mentor an SLPA , including observations and documentation as required by Texas licensure rules
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our EMR system
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for each child

Schedule & Visit Expectations :

  • Part-Time : 10- 23 visits per week
  • Full-Time : 24+ visits per week
  • Flexible scheduling within Houston and surrounding areas (within 20 miles) , including ZIP codes such as 77002, 77008, 77024, 77057, 77401, 77459, 77429 , and more

    • What You’ll Need :

  • Active Texas SLP license
  • Experience with pediatric populations (home health preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills
  • Reliable transportation to serve patients across the Houston area

    Requirements

  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas.
  • Experience in pediatric home health or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
  • Ability to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for diverse patient needs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with children who have varying diagnoses and challenges.
