Key Responsibilities
- Assist with patient admissions, including orientation to unit routines and equipment.
- Respond promptly to patient needs, providing direct assistance or communicating with appropriate personnel.
- Support the nursing care plan by performing delegated patient care tasks.
- Maintain patient safety through proper use of equipment and supplies.
- Manage and stock patient care supplies, ensuring a clean and well-organized environment.
- Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
- Engage in educational and performance improvement activities.
- Perform waived testing and maintain required skills per unit competency.
- Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction and efficient patient throughput.
Education and Certification
High school diploma or equivalent required.Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification mandatory.Current registration with the appropriate state nursing assistant registry.Experience and Skills
No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.Strong guest relations and communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to read and understand English.Flexible and adaptable to varying work schedules and tasks.Basic computer proficiency.Knowledge of age-specific patient care considerations.Physical and Other Requirements
