EMTBHT Emergency Services (Full Time, Days)

Minimum Job Requirements

• EMT - Emergency Medical Technician maintain active and in good standing throughout employment
• CPR BLS -American Heart Association BLS maintain active and in good standing throughout employment
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute within 45 days of hire
• PALS - American Heart Association PALS within 2 years of hire
• BACKGRD - Level II Background Check
• Completes basic hours of orientation plus 12 hours of in-service training within 1 year of hire
• EVOC - Emergency Vehicle Operator required within 30 days of hire (Current employees will have until 11 / 14 / 25 to obtain EVOC)
• DL - Drivers License Class E (Current employees will have until 11 / 14 / 25 to obtain DL)

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Job Summary

Responsible for assisting with patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse and performs one-on-ones with behavioral health patients to support patients needs. Accountable for patient care which incorporates clinical and clerical tasks planning and implementation evaluation and intervention skills. Also responsible for the maintenance stocking of the rooms during shift and upkeep of the department and equipment and supplies. Works under the supervision of the Nurse Director and / or Manager.
