Automation Technician

Duration : 12-month contract with Extension

Job Description : Summary :

This position will support the automation systems in the plant's warehouse area, working directly with the equipment and systems responsible for order fulfilment. After an initial training period (M-F, 8am4pm), the work schedule will most likely follow a 12-hour day / night rotation in accordance with the clients production shift schedule.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide array of automation system in the warehouse area including, mini load AS / RS cranes, Fanuc robots, various roller conveyors, and automation devices.
• Work with the operations team to ensure all processes and equipment are running smoothly and any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Work with the engineering team on advanced support issues or process improvement projects.
• Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed thoroughly.
