Embrace the opportunity to build genuine connections and contribute positively to our community.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Direct Support Professional, duties and tasks my include, but are not limited to : Follow established policies and procedures set by the agency.Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilitiesAssist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.Implement and follow individualized care plans and behavioral support programsFacilitate community integration and socialization activities for clientsAlways maintain the highest standard of conduct and courtesy in dealing with clients, their family, the staff, and the community. Promote positive interaction.Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed on best practices / policiesMonitor and document client progress, behaviors, and any incidentsMaintain a clean and organized living environment for clientsAssist with transportation to appointments, activities, and other outingsQUALIFICATIONS : No job-related experience necessary! Ravenna, Ohio18 years or older.High school diploma or equivalent.
