Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Security Management Specialist in support of SOF AT&L DIR-AS. SOF AT&L's Acquisition Security Directorate studies commercial markets to identify the pooling of risks and / or emerging opportunities relevant to Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics equities to help develop strategies to mitigate them. This will be a full-time position located at MacDill AFB, FL. This position is contingent upon contract modification.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in managing security classification processes within SOF AT&L.
• Support the SOF AT&L Acquisition Security Directorate with the management of SOF AT&L-managed security classification guides.
• Provide subject matter expertise to SOF AT&L Program Managers in drafting Security Classification Guides (SCGs), facilitating classification management of programs, and ensuring compliance with DoD and US SOCOM regulations.
• Collaborate with government and industry stakeholders to enhance security measures and contribute to mission-driven objectives.
• Provide deep knowledge of SCG development, management, and application processes
• Draft, review, and edit Security Classification Guides in collaboration with program managers
