Registered Nurse - Progressive Care

Job Details\n\nTravel RN-PCU jobs in Weirton, WV offer you the chance to work in a dynamic stepdown / progressive care unit, providing specialized care for cardiac patients and those recovering from pneumonia, catheterization, seizures, and alcohol withdrawal. You will monitor patients, titrate cardiac drips, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, intensivists, and respiratory therapists. The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1 : 4 to 1 : 6 depending on acuity, and you will use electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Cerner Corporation - Soarian for charting. Required qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of stepdown / progressive care experience, current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, and proficiency in cardiac monitoring and telemetry strip interpretation.
