What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting site operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the chemical and petrochemical location, both inside and outside, to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, unusual activity, or security-related concerns found during patrols.
  • Communicate in a professional manner with visitors, employees, and / or contractors while on patrol, providing guidance and assistance as appropriate.
  • Report security-related incidents according to Allied Universal and site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
