Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Memphis, TN 38116 (Tennessee nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Intermediate Care Unit (IMU) / Cardiac Step Down Unit Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : March 2, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07 : 00 - 19 : 00) Total Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780-$1910 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown RN experience with prior travel assignment, or 3 years PCU experience without travel Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state (TN RN license or compact state license required) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Current BLS certification (must be valid for entire assignment) Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (per travel nurse guidelines) Flu vaccine required (no exemptions permitted) Cerner EMR / charting experience preferred Ability to manage high patient ratios in a fast-paced clinical environment At least one completed previous travel nursing assignment Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in the IMU / Step Down Unit Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress using Cerner EMR Administer medications, treatments, and cardiac interventions as prescribed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float between similar units and campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed Maintain compliance with facility and healthcare policies and procedures Work at least 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if assignment overlaps Experience the excitement of Memphis while making a difference in patient care.
