Finley Buttes Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a full time, safety minded Landfill Laborer to work at our site in Boardman, Oregon. We're hiring a Full-Time Landfill Laborer to safely operate heavy equipment (dozers, loaders, excavators, off-road dump trucks) at our Boardman, OR landfill. Schedule : Monday Friday, 5 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM (Mandatory Every-Other Saturday Shifts) $25.87 per hour Safety Sensitive Position : YES

Duties And Responsibilities

• Ability to efficiently and safely operate bulldozers, wheel loaders, excavator and off-road dump trucks. Compactor experience preferred, but not required.
• Performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and operational.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
