West Region Brokerage Leader, Casualty - Construction And Infrastructure

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for the West Region Brokerage Leader position in our West Region. This is a great opportunity to join the Construction & Infrastructure team to manage and broker / consult on behalf of a diversified client base with insurance underwriters in the Casualty insurance discipline. This is a hybrid role that requires working onsite at least three days a week from a local Aon office in Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco or Seattle.

What the day will look like :

• The Broker Leader is responsible for assessing client needs, designing solutions and negotiating with insurance carriers to obtain coverage that is in a client's best interests
• Professional who develops and manages client relationships, account strategies and insurance marketing activities
• Act as a trusted advisor to the client, in broking, designing, selling and servicing complex accounts
• Provide outstanding and timely service and support to clients, relationship managers and originator
• Identify and analyze client exposures and ensure policy coverage addresses all such exposures
• Facilitate the compilation of submission information in conjunction with clients, relationship managers, originators and service center support
• Finalize market submission and product design options to clients, relationship managers, and originators
• Review and analyze quotes and binders to ensure appropriate coverage
• Detailed knowledge of the existing and prospected business within the segment
• Insurance Carrier relations specific to the segment
• Bespoke Broking and account reviews
• Detailed knowledge of the market dynamics within the segment
• Retain and grow assigned clients / prospects
• Adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior in all activities and able to work well in a team environment
• Management responsibilities, including leading and developing a team through coaching, training, and regular performance feedback, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives, and overseeing daily operations to ensure achievement of department goals
• Travel as required for client, prospect and industry events
