Partnering with Focused Staffing Group

Focused Staffing Group is seeking an innovative and collaborative LSSW to support our partner School District . This role will primarily serve students at the high school level, providing essential counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support services.

Qualifications :

Valid LSSW Counselor license
Experience working in a school setting is preferred.

Responsibilities :

Provide direct counseling and consultation services to students.

Dedicate a significant portion of the day to working directly with students for counseling, planning, and decision-making.

Offer crisis intervention and referrals to outside agencies when necessary.

Mediate conflicts between students and staff that may interfere with the learning process.

Assist staff in developing behavior intervention and support plans for students experiencing difficulties in the classroom.

Serve as a resource for staff, offering guidance on behavioral, social, and emotional concerns affecting student success.

Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student development.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the principal.
