The Gardens at Stevens is currently seeking a Medical Records / Central Supply Clerk to join our skilled nursing facility in Stevens, PA!
You will use your knowledge of accounting and negotiation to procure necessary supplies for nursing homes.
Shift Available :
Full TimeResponsibilities :
- Select vendors and supplies, research and evaluate suppliers, analyze price proposals and negotiate contracts.
- Prepare and submit bid proposals and research new products and equipment.
- Work under the direction of the nursing home administrator to ensure that orders are confirmed and correct and handle shipping errors or returns of damaged merchandise.
- Process medical information into the EMR system by scanning, batch scanning, quality checks, post scanning, and research.
- Assist with clerical support not limited to : filing, faxing, and organization.
- Maintaining manuals, logs and other required documentation as required
- Demonstrate and understanding for patient confidentiality to protect the patient and the clinic / corporation.
- Provide patients and their families with the utmost compassionate care in a professional manner.
Qualifications :
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent computer skills required for the medical records clerk position
- Strong communication and customer service skills required.
- Microsoft Office knowledge highly desirable.
