Job Summary

The Value-Based Care (VBC) Operations Specialist supports the execution of operational and enterprise-wide initiatives related to value-based care programs. This role combines day-to-day operational support with elements of project coordination and implementation, helping to ensure efficient program execution and alignment with cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of strategic initiatives and other special projects.
  • Support internal coordination across interdepartmental teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Assist with the development of workflows, tools, and documentation to improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and assist with developing practical solutions.
  • Support the management of KPI success metrics and reporting frameworks to enable performance tracking and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with communication and change management initiatives to support successful adoption of programs and changes.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and assist with presentations for leadership and key stakeholders.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare related or business field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in healthcare operations, project coordination and program implementation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to work with data and project management platforms.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with various levels of stakeholders.

  • Experience supporting or coordinating cross-functional projects within a healthcare setting.
  • Exposure to change management, performance improvement, or regulatory / compliance initiatives.
  • Physical Requirements

    This position works under usual office conditions. The associate is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
