Shift : Evenings

Pay : $19.10 - $24.83 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Join our Team : As an Emergency Medical Technician EMT I at UCHealth, you will provide essential emergent and urgent patient care under the guidance of a physician, physician's assistant, or registered nurse. You will be part of a dedicated team that improves lives through learning, healing, and discovery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform technical procedures as delegated, such as establishing IV access, collecting specimens, providing wound care, and transporting patients.
• Assist physicians and nurses in medical procedures including examinations, minor surgical interventions, and resuscitation efforts.
• Monitor and report on patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to medical professionals.
• Help maintain patient flow and ensure patient rooms are clean, stocked, and orderly.
• Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications :

Successful applicants will complete their BLS or CPR training through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross before the start date, with valid certification required.
