Cytotechnologist

Pride Health is hiring a Cytology Technician II to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Boston, MA 02111.

This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location : Boston, MA

Schedule : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM M-F No weekend work (40 hrs / week)

Pay Range : $22 / hr- $ 27 / hr (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

Job Responsibilities :

• Perform Thin Prep processing of cytology and UroVysion specimens.
• Process cytology specimens using Microcyte.
• Stain and coverslip cytology slides (Pap staining).
• Print and collate cytology worksheets with slides.
• Document daily QC for reagents, instruments, and equipment.
• Perform routine instrument / equipment maintenance.
• Monitor and report reagent / supply needs to the supervisor.
• Help organize daily workflow and assist with training new staff.
• Follow all job-related instructions and duties as assigned.
