Responsibilities

Ascension Seton is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Pediatric Metabolic Genetics physician to join an incredible team with Dell Children's Medical Group! Board eligible / board certified physicians in clinical biochemical genetics or medical biochemical genetics are encouraged to apply.

Position Highlights :

Outpatient metabolic genetics clinic

Collaborate with pediatric hospitalists and subspecialists

Telephone consults with community providers

Shared call with other providers

Diagnose and manage patients with possible inborn metabolic disorders

Opportunity to develop new programs to meet community needs

Collaborative partner with Dell Medical School in building Austin's Center for Rare Diseases

About Dell Children's

Dell Children's Medical Center (DCMC) is a 299-bed freestanding pediatric facility with Pediatric Level I Trauma Center, Level IV Epilepsy Center, Level IV NICU, Special Delivery Unit, Texas Center for Pediatric Congenital Heart Disease, and Inpatient Psychiatry Mental Health Unit.

Our second location, DCMC North, opened in the spring of 2022 as a 36-bed hospital.
