Wyyerd Group (“Wyyerd”) is seeking a Senior IP Network Architect or Senior IP Network Engineer with extensive Ciena SAOS routing / switching experience and who has training and hands-on experience with both ISP Access Network and Backbone / Core technologies and software support systems, and has played an integral role in the design, planning, and implementation of Layer 2 and Layer 3 ISP networks.

The ideal candidate for this role has played an integral role in the design, planning, and implementation of Layer 2 and Layer 3 ISP networks and the related OSS and monitoring systems. Additionally, you have extensive experience both supporting internal teams and external customers. Dealing with network outage and resolution is something that you view as a challenge and opportunity to permanently improve the network. You are driven to learn, are passionate about networking, and are excited about engaging with many technologies you aren’t familiar with (e.g. AI, SDN, Automation) and working on projects / growing your skill outside of your current area of expertise. Mentoring and training junior and entry level network team members is something you both value and enjoy.

Responsibilities

• Immediately contribute and participate in Wyyerd’s existing network deployments.
• Provide significant input regarding network integration, expansion, and stabilization.
• Contribute and create network process and procedure.
