Room Attendant / Housekeeper

Overview

Room Attendant / Housekeeping role with Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. Base pay range : $19.00 / hr. The job focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and surrounding corridors, while delivering courteous guest service.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. and property-specific brand standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas; report deficiencies to the maintenance department and any out-of-order equipment.
• Make beds with fresh linens, remove trash, clean mirrors and surfaces, dust, and arrange furniture properly.
• Be responsible for the hallway in front of the room; deep clean one room daily.
• Clean bathrooms, disinfect surfaces, and replenish in-room supplies (glasses, soap, shampoo, tissues, etc.).
• Vacuum rooms and hallways; maintain a clean and attractive work area and uniform.
• Notify the Executive Housekeeper of rooms vacated / cleaned, rooms occupied / clean, and any discrepancies or unusual conditions.
• Assist with security of guests, associates, and hotel assets; perform other duties as requested by the General Manager to aid hotel operations.
• Maintain confidentiality of the company's business functions and guest information.
