Lead Mitigation Technician / Mitigation Supervisor
Paul Davis Restoration of Downriver Detroit is seeking a full-time, field-based lead mitigation technician / mitigation supervisor. This on-call rotation position requires the successful execution of all emergency mitigation serviceswater, fire, mold, and storm damageby leading the field team, coordinating response, and setting the standard for technical excellence, documentation, and customer communication. Take charge on-site, manage technician performance, and ensure jobs start strong and finish right.
This is not a basic tech role. We're looking for someone with real-world field experience in mitigationbonus if you have reconstruction skills or a handyman background. Respond to new emergency losses quickly and lead on-site execution.
Handle inspections, demo, moisture mapping, extraction, equipment setup.
Maintain field documentation (DASH, Xactimate, Docusketch).
Coordinate with the team to ensure jobs run on time and under control.
Lead and train mitigation techs, delegate tasks, and set quality standards.
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency response.
Assist in post-mitigation cleaning, contents, or estimating as needed.

Strong mitigation experience (water, fire, mold, storm damage).
Ability to lead a small crew in the field with professionalism and calm.
Confidence with documentation systems like DASH, Xactimate, or similar.
Reconstruction or handyman experience is a major bonus.
Comfortable with on-call rotation and handling after-hours calls.
You can lift 75 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
