QC Civil Engineer

Our Richmond, VA office is looking for a QC Engineer with exposure to civil engineering :

What You'll Do :

Provide high-level strategy for unique design projects

Internal Quality Assurance / Quality Control aspects during the project design andconstruction process : o Ensure compliance with all internal Quality Control processeso Completion of Quality Checklists for designo Review of all site safety design featureso Detailing consistencyo Constructability reviewo Assessment / improvement / maintenance of QA / QC procedure

Construction Administration

Assist design team in support of Construction Administration services for design projects

Complies with all policies and standard

Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Need :

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred

Experience in civil / site design including : o Extensive knowledge of site gradingo Storm water management designo Utility designo Commercial / Industrial design experienceo Subdivision designo Zoning research and analysiso Real world construction and problem solvingo Concept site layout

Passion for design quality and desire to help produce the best design possible

Attention to detail

Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred

10 years + of residential and / or commercial / industrial site designskills preferred
