Key Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist :

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

Operate gamma cameras, PET / CT, and SPECT equipment

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures accurately and efficiently

Ensure patient safety and monitor vital signs during procedures

Maintain patient records and document procedures according to protocols

Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals

Maintain proper quality control and calibration of imaging equipment

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience

NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required

BLS certification

Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling and imaging techniques

Excellent communication and patient care skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
