Oncology - Radiation Physician

Radiation Oncology Locum Position in Duluth, MN- $375 Hourly

We are looking for locum coverage for a busy Radiation Oncology practice due to the retirement of a long-term physician. This is a two-physician practice, we are look for 15 clinic days per month. Flexible date scheduling, with the exception that we request that physician covers the dates below :

• Aug 4-5
• Aug 11-13 or 13-15
• Sept 19
• Oct 16-17
• Nov 13-14
• Nov 24-26
• Dec 4-5
• Dec 25 to Jan 2
• Jan 16 - 23

Day shifts typically : 7 : 30-4pm

Night call : 4pm -10pm

Saturday and Sunday Call 8am 8pm

Weekend call mainly 12hr shift

Submission Requirements :

Chart rounds conducted with the Radiation Oncology team weekly. Each day consists of 10-15 clinic visits (including OTVs) with an average of 25 patients total between the two physicians on the TrueBeam for treatment each day.

EPIC as our EHR, and ARIA / Eclipse for radiation treatment planning.

Team of skilled Radiation Therapists as well as RNs to keep our practice flowing smoothly.

On-site dosimetry full-time with a pay-per-plan model in place for high volume times when turnaround time is important.

Hybrid physics with a talented group of physicists on-site every-other-week and available at all other times remotely.

On-site CT sim, and we are situated as a part of the hospital campus where CT, PET, and MRI are available.

ACS Commission on Cancer certified Cancer Center and conduct multidisciplinary tumor boards every Thursday, we would welcome participation from our Locum colleagues.
