Job Description Work schedule varies but will most likely include dual enrollment hybrid and/or in-person statistics classes taught at high schools in the surrounding area. Minimum Qualifications Master’s in mathematics or applied mathematics

OR

Bachelor’s in either of the above

AND

Master’s in statistics, physics or mathematics educationOR

Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area.

The equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.

Desirable Qualifications Experience teaching transfer-level mathematics courses, including statistics.

Experience teaching at a community college.

Experience working in a mathematics tutoring center.
