Senior Advisor, Youth Services Division

The Senior Advisor will play a critical role in supporting the efficient and effective operation of the divisions overseen by the Associate Commissioner. The Senior Advisor will act as a key advisor, strategist, and implementer, supporting in executing the agency's mission and strategic goals. The Senior Advisor will assist in the development and implementation of accountability metrics to ensure accomplishment of the division's goals as well as smooth, effective, and efficient operations. In addition, the Senior Advisor will provide strategic support with respect to the coordination of new initiatives, unit-wide projects, as well as the development and amendment of multi-year plans and improvement strategies for the agency.

Strategic Planning and Execution :

• Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the division.
• Monitor progress and ensure alignment with Youth Services and DYCD's overall mission and objectives.
• Collect and analyze program data to inform policy development and improve school-CBO partnerships.
• Lead critical cross-functional initiatives, including the coordination and implementation of after-school and community partnerships.
• Provide leadership and guidance on strategic planning related to high-profile, cross-divisional issues.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and policies.
