Data Center Hardware Repair Technician

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

We are looking for a Data Center Hardware Repair Technician to enhance our data center operations team. This role is crucial for the physical repair and maintenance of hardware, including servers, switches, routers, and related components. If you have hands-on experience with hardware from leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and x86 server platforms, we want to hear from you!

Compensation : The compensation for this position ranges from $26.45 to $31.25 per hour for day shifts and $31.25 to $36.06 per hour for night shifts.

This role requires rotational shifts to support 24 / 7 / 365 operations and may involve up to 10% travel both domestically and internationally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform hands-on repairs and replace defective hardware components in data center equipment.
• Manage the lifecycle of hardware components from installation to recycling.
• Conduct inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure operational reliability.
• Oversee inventory management of spare parts and hardware components.
• Collaborate with technical teams to coordinate replacement activities and minimize downtime.
• Document repair activities and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
• Execute basic physical layer troubleshooting for connectivity and performance standards.
• Support new hardware installations and setup of network and server infrastructure.
• Participate in emergency response teams to address urgent hardware issues.
• Work in a 4 rotational shift schedule for 24 / 7 / 365 service.
