Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors. Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies. Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with company and legal requirements. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address concerns and provide assistance as needed. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license as required by applicable state and / or local laws. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the assigned location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
