Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist for a day shift pain management assignment requiring ARRT (R) and BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a pain management department within an acute care setting
  • Schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM
  • No weekend or on-call responsibilities
  • Floating may be required to other locations within a 60-mile radius as per policy
  • Uses Epic EMR charting system
  • Responsibilities include performing diagnostic radiology procedures, radiation safety, image quality assurance, and patient care throughout exams
  • Position serves as a resource to staff and students and may require duties outside the original assignment job requirements if floating
  • Flu vaccination is required during flu season (Nov 1 – March 31) unless a qualifying medical exemption is provided
  • A 60-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible for travel positions
  • Scrubs or dress code requirements are as per department policy

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting
  • Current ARRT (R) certification required
  • Active BLS certification (AHA only)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience performing diagnostic imaging in surgery and trauma required
  • Ability to instruct and evaluate student radiographers
  • License required if applicable
