Opportunity Details

Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in northwestern Georgia that has an opportunity for a Critical Care physician to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Details :

• Schedule : 7a-7p
• Beeper Call Shifts : 7p-7a
• Daily Volume : 10 patients, 4-5 admissions
• 8-bed ICU
• Duties : Admissions, cross cover, and pulmonary consults
• Required Procedures : Tracheal intubation, central lines, chest tubes, arterial lines, dialysis catheter, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, conscious sedation, bronchoscopy
• Support Staff : Hospitalists, ER MD, respiratory therapists, and ICU nursing
• EMR : Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
