About the Role

We are seeking a Purchaser to join our growing operations team at Multi Housing Depot. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in managing procurement and purchasing activities within our total manufacturing environment, focused on delivering innovative solutions for the multi-housing building industry. You’ll collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality control to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality acquisition of materials and components essential for production.

What You’ll Do

Create, process, and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, and services.

Onboard, qualify, and manage suppliers while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to support cost savings and efficiency.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability.

Oversee inventory levels, stock replenishment, and logistics coordination.

Monitor supplier performance using metrics and vendor scorecards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and meet production goals.

Compile and analyze purchasing data, trends, and reporting to inform decisions.

Ensure documentation, contracts, and compliance align with company policies.

Drive continuous improvement by streamlining procurement processes.

What You’ll Bring

3–5 years of purchasing / procurement experience in a manufacturing environment .

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Strong negotiation skills with proven vendor management experience.

Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.

High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Analytical mindset; ability to track vendor performance and cost savings.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and procurement software.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Epicor Kinetic / Connectix procurement software.

Knowledge of multi-housing industry products (cabinetry, fixtures, hardware, etc.).
