Our client, a leader in sustainable energy solutions, is seeking a Prototype Fabricator to join their team. As a Prototype Fabricator, you will be part of the Energy Engineering R&D department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have a detail-oriented mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for prototyping, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Prototype Fabricator – Tesla Energy Engineering R&D

Location : Lathrop, CA

Pay Rate : $38+ per hour

What's the Job?

• Weld and join metal components (Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel) using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
• Cut, bend, and form metal parts using fabrication equipment such as vertical / horizontal bandsaws, lathes, drill presses, and grinders.
• Operate manual and CNC hydraulic vertical press brakes with associated dies and punches.
• Utilize 3D CAD / CAM software (preferably Catia V5 / 6, SolidWorks, Fusion360, and MasterCam).
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for fabrication projects.
