Position Purpose : Clinical

• Provide gastroenterology services to patients of the practice on both an out-and in-patient basis.
• Comply with all local, state and federal regulations regarding documentation and coding, billing and collections, referrals and other clinical practice regulations.
• Supervise non-physician providers as requested.
• Prepare patient records, charts and reports as appropriate.
• Needs to meet quality, safety and service standards of Saint Anthony Hospital.
• Assume responsibility of patients at Saint Anthony Hospital facilities where medical staff membership and clinical privileges are held when requested by Emergency Department.
• Participates in call coverage.
• Participates in practice’s clinical management system and processes.
• Required to utilize EMR for all clinical documentation

Organizational Requirements

Responsible to Clinical Department Chairman of Internal Medicine, or his designee for non-clinical behavior.

Managerial

Position Requirements :

Doctoral Degree

1-3 years of experience

Licensed Physician in the state of IL
